The roots of Ukrainian identity lie in folk tradition 🤲
On International Folklore Day, we are sharing moments from the first day of "Vytoky. The Form of Tradition" (@_vytoky_) — the first multidisciplinary ethno-symposium in Zaporizhzhia.
For us, folklore is not a static relic of the past. It is a living practice that evolves alongside us while preserving a connection to our origins.
We want to thank the "Zachepyha" School of Traditional Dance (@zachepyha), the "Yevshan-Zillia" Steppe Singing Creative Laboratory (@yevshan_zillia), and everyone who joined us yesterday. Together, we danced, sang, and experienced tradition with both body and soul.
Many more opportunities lie ahead to co-create modern forms of our culture 🤎
