Inspired by the "Sasha v Khashchakh" blog, we started recalling the little things that we associate with the South.
Apricots scattered beneath the tree. The steppe stretching to the horizon. Crates of sweet cherries. The road to the Sea of Azov. Grapevines shading the courtyard. Hot air, dust, and that unmistakable wind.
For some, it’s Zaporizhzhia. For others — Melitopol, Berdyansk, Mariupol, or a small village that is currently impossible to visit.
Places may be temporarily inaccessible. But home lives on in the things we remember.
And what does the South mean to you?
