Trudovoii Slavy Park was opened in 1965 in honor of the 20th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. At the grand opening of the park zone, 35 oak trees were planted by the invited war heroes, who formed the Walk of Fame. And in 1973, the oaks were planted by the heroes of labor and thus continued the Walk of Fame on the opposite side of the street. In 1984, the Park-monument of landscape gardening Trudovoii Slavy Park was declared lost, but already in 2002 he again received the status of the park.
Now visiting the Park and the Walk of Fame, you have a great opportunity to stroll between the noble oaks, which still carry the memory of the outstanding people of Zaporizhzhia, as well as take a picture near the sculpture of the legendary athlete idol Schwarzenegger, who was multiple world champion in weightlifting Leonid Zhabotinsky and walk along the alley of forged paintings. Also, this is one of the most favorite places for city residents, which combines a wonderful park area with a bustling and hasty city and a wonderful children's area, where children can learn the rules of the road through the game, which is facilitated by special markings. And next to the Park is Shevchenko Boulevard, which beckons with a variety of fountains and its sculptures.
