On August 30 at 15:00, the “Dim Aktora” theater platform and the Veterans’ Art Center invite you to a screening of the film “February” by Mykola Bichuk @mykola_bichuk in the small hall of the Dovzhenko Cinema.
“February” tells the story of Chernihiv during the first days of the invasion — a city that stood strong thanks to the people who stayed behind to defend, rescue, treat, and help others. It is a story of resilience, self-organization, and human courage, documented directly by those who experienced these events.
The film is a reminder of how fragile peaceful life can be — and how much depends on people who, at the most difficult moment, do not shy away from responsibility.
The film’s creator and director, Mykola Bichuk, is an actor and serviceman who is currently carrying out combat missions in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
Mykola will attend the screening and speak with the audience about the film, its creation, and his experience documenting the first days of the full-scale war.
