Russian captivity is a trial that thousands of Ukrainians have endured. Over 95% of people in Russian detention centers are subjected to torture and inhumane treatment.
Despite what they have gone through, many released military personnel and civilians find the strength to continue living, share their stories, and bear witness to crimes that must not be forgotten.
More than 8,000 Ukrainians have been freed from Russian captivity, but the work to bring our people home continues every day.
