Happy Construction Workers’ Day!

Today, we cannot compare the scale of construction in Ukraine with what it was before the full-scale war.

But even now, the construction industry remains critically important. Because it is people who build hospitals, schools, homes, shelters, and infrastructure — creating the spaces we live in.

When the war ends, the demand for construction will only grow. Ukraine will have to be rebuilt according to new standards of safety and quality.

But what we cannot rebuild quickly is experience.

The experience and expertise of construction professionals are built over years, if not decades. Today, we are losing part of this experience because many builders and engineers have taken up the defense of Ukraine.

So we thank everyone who continues to build — on construction sites, in design offices, and expert organizations. And we remember: reconstruction does not begin with concrete and bricks. It begins with people.

That is why we need to invest not only in new buildings, but also in those who create them.
