We invite you to the opening of an exhibition by @ukrainianwartimeposters featuring Anna Black @wonder_graphic_design
📌 August 20, 14:00
Maria Prymachenko Boulevard
This time, we present the works of Anna Black — a graphic and UI/UX designer, artist, internationally recognized poster designer, and expert in visual communications and branding.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, posters have become one of Anna’s key ways of speaking about the events in Ukraine. Her works have already been presented at more than 120 international exhibitions — from Japan and Taiwan to the United States. Through her art, she tells the world about Ukraine, our resistance, and the experience of war in a language that needs no translation.
💭 “Art asks questions. It gives people an opportunity to stop and reflect. A poster is an opportunity to tell the truth. To speak about what is happening, call things by their names, and not allow important events to remain unnoticed.
To tell the world the truth about Ukraine. And only we — UKRAINIANS — can tell the story of Ukraine.”
