The exhibition “Forms of Presence in a State of Limbo” by Volodymyr Hulich @artzebs and Anastasiia Loyko @nastya.loyko has opened at the Zaporizhzhia Center for Contemporary Art, BIRUCHIY Art Centre.
The project is dedicated to the experience of living in conditions of prolonged uncertainty — a state that is deeply familiar to many Ukrainians today. Through painting and photography, the artists explore the space between past and future, where a person continues to search for stability, adapt to change, and preserve the ability to move forward.
For Zaporizhzhia, this theme feels especially close. For several years, the city has been living between war and everyday life, between constant threat and the necessity of building a future. That is why the exhibition speaks not only about individual experience but also about a shared social condition — a society learning to live in a new reality.
We sincerely thank everyone who joined the opening and became part of this conversation about presence, resilience, and the search for meaning in times of uncertainty.
Curator: Hennadii Kozub @gennadiikozub
The exhibition runs until July 25.
