Youth from all over Ukraine are invited to join the all-Ukrainian project "Leadership Program".

On August 17-21, a project of the youth organization "Ukrainian Students for Freedom" named "Leadership Program 2026" will be held on the territory of Medzhybizh Castle in Khmelnytskyi region. It will take place in the format of an educational offline camp. After this camp, the Program will last a whole year. Participation is free.

The event will bring together about 300 students who dream of a free, successful Ukraine and want to take an active part in its creation. As the organizers announce, the program will include lectures and discussions on the topics of economics, political freedom, philosophy, entrepreneurship and its role in society, community building and leadership, conversations about the importance of fighting for freedom in times of war, and more.

Also in the program: physical activities, team building, reflections, cultural and entertainment activities. Training will take place in the rooms of the castle, and underground shelters will be provided during air raids.

Why apply for the Leadership Program?

"I recently gave a lecture on economics, and a young girl approached me saying, 'I really want to join the USF because the people around me don't understand my position and aren't willing to seek out more information to grasp it.' The Leadership Program is not just a place to find like-minded peers or debate opponents; it is also an initiative with an educational component that allows you to gain a solid understanding of political and economic processes quite quickly and effectively. So, if you want to learn more but worry about a lack of support or not getting answers to your questions - well, it looks like Medzhybizh Fortress is waiting for you," says Maryna Vasylenko, the 4th USF President and the project's lead organizer.

Prospective and current students for whom freedom is a core value are eligible to apply for the program. To do it, you must complete the form at this link and undergo a selection process. The registration deadline is July 19 at 23:59.

The organization covers all expenses, including handouts, meals, and accommodation during the project; however, participants must provide their own tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping mats. Transportation from Khmelnytskyi to the castle is provided for everyone. Following the event, participants may apply for the Ludwig von Mises Scholarship to cover the cost of travel back to Khmelnytskyi and equipment rental, if needed.

The Annual Leadership Program is the only way to join Ukrainian Students for Freedom as a member of the civic organisation. During the 5-day camp, young people will get to know the ideas of the community as much as possible.

Each participant who decides to join the organization will be able to continue the Program. They will have the opportunity to work with their personal mentor for a whole year, implement their own ideas through projects and events, and build a community.
