Opening of the Museum of Phenomenal Power

The Museum of Phenomenal Power has opened in Zaporizhia. This space is a continuation of the project of craft museums in Zaporizhia. The exposition is filled with a huge number of facts about the origins of various sports, retro photos of sporting events in Zaporizhia, as well as stories of the most outstanding athletes of our city.

Here you will immerse yourself in the exciting atmosphere of sports competitions, as well as be able to try your hand. Table football, a treadmill, an arm wrestling table and many other interactive features await you in the new museum space.

The grand opening was attended by the Secretary of the Zaporizhia City Council Kurtev Anatoliy Valentynovych, Deputy Mayor for Executive Bodies Vasyuk Anatoliy Hryhorovych, Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Zaporizhia City Council Kateryna Simonova.

Prominent Zaporizhia athletes and representatives of the sports community also joined the festive presentation:

The museum's collection includes a ticket to the legendary final of the Olympics in weightlifting, which was won by Zaporozhye athlete Leonid Jabotinsky, footage of the first steps on the springboard of Olympic medalist in diving Elena Zhupina. And especially for the Museum of Phenomenal Power, the famous Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Koban @ sasha.korban created seven paintings by the most prominent athletes of Zaporizhia in the author's style.

We will remind, in 2020 the first craft space - the Museum of architecture of Zaporizhia earned. The museum enjoys the attention of visitors and has become a favorite place to visit among the guests of the city.

We are waiting for everyone who wants to discover new museum spaces without weekends from 09:30 to 18:00. Entrance to the museum, as well as tours and events - free.

You can visit the exhibition with a green covid certificate, PLR testing, valid for 72 hours or a certificate of recovery from Covid-19.
