Roman Minin is a professional monumental artist who boldly experiments with styles and materials. He wonderfully combines author's handwriting and academic skill. The basis of his work is mining folklore: the mix of decorative art and industrial style in paintings about the life of miners became Minin's calling card.
In 2016, he headed the list of the most promising artists in Ukraine according to Forbes. His exhibitions are held in galleries in Poland, Norway, Belgium, France, and works are sold at world auctions Sotheby's and Phillips. His sculptures are in private collections in Belgium, Denmark, France, the United States, Japan, China and Spain.
His song "Homer Versus" (2010) became very popular among Internet users, the wave of resonance reached even another part of the world: Roman was contacted by representatives of the street art artist Banksy to request permission to use the print.
