Following my experience in Ukraine, my practice took a new direction. I became increasingly concerned with our saturated visual culture—where images of war circulate endlessly on social networks, often stripped of context and emotional depth.
To question this erosion of meaning, I now rework my own photographs from conflict zones through various processes such as etching, charcoal drawing, fragmentation, and other material processes. By reshaping these digital images into tactile, resistant objects, I seek to restore a space for attention, doubt, and reflection in front of scenes of violence.
