Barbie run

Barbie Run isn’t just a running club—it’s a true community of women where sports go hand in hand with support, new friendships, and good vibes. Every Sunday at 8 a.m., members gather for a run at various locations around Zaporizhzhia, and the pink dress code - which has become the club’s trademark - remains a constant feature of their meetups.

The idea that started as a spontaneous one has, over time, evolved into a place where everyone can find like-minded people, recharge their energy, and feel supported. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been running for a long time or are just taking your first steps—Barbie Run welcomes anyone who wants to spend their weekends being active and in good company.

After the run, participants often join in on various activities and collaborations: yoga, stretching, tea ceremonies, beauty meetups, archery, and many other formats that help not only stay fit, but also get to know one another, socialize, and inspire each other.

In addition to regular meetups, Barbie Run organizes themed and charity events, combining sports with good deeds. Among them was a large-scale run to mark the 12th anniversary of the AZOV Regiment, during which the funds raised were donated to support the army. The community also held a charity Barbie Run with a stretching session on the roof of the “Khortitsa Palace,” which made it possible to purchase essential items for children at a psychoneurological orphanage.

That’s why, for many participants, it’s no longer just a running club, but a place of strength, inspiration, female support, a place for productive leisure and good deeds.
