1. Try ice cream in the cafe "Snowflake"
That's it, in a metal cup, with jam and sprinkled with grated chocolate. The cafe opened in the late 1960s next to the Teatralny Hotel on the corner of Soborny Avenue and Troitskaya Street. It was a very popular place to take a table and place an order, you had to stand in line. "Snowflake" is remembered primarily for milkshakes and ice cream, one of the most delicious in the city.

2. Wave to Kiev on the legendary "Meteor"
"Rockets", "comets", "meteors" - all these are high-speed passenger ships on hydrofoils, which "flew" on rivers and reservoirs of the country and were a popular means of transport in the 1960s-1980s. It was possible to get from Zaporizhia to Kyiv in 12-13 hours. Not Intercity, of course. A little long. But what landscapes! Dnieper, the beauty of nature around.
Such trips became a real adventure and gave memories for a lifetime. Also from Zaporizhzhia it was possible to get quickly and comfortably to Energodar, Kherson, Nikopol, Cherkasy.

3. Get to the shooting of the film "Spring on Zarichna Street"
As you know, most of the film was shot in Zaporizhzhia. Zaporizhstal, Dniprospetsstal, Oak Grove Park, the Palace of Culture of the Aluminum Plant and many other city locations were included in the frame. Residents of the city, who took part in the filming of mass scenes and then enthusiastically searched for themselves on the screens, were also able to touch the magic of cinema.

4. Take the best table in the restaurant "Lahti"
The famous restaurant opened in Zaporozhye in 1973. The place was very popular to get inside, often had to stand in line. On the first floor there was a large hall with tables and a bar, on the second - a banquet hall. There were also separate places for parties. The furniture for the restaurant was made by Finnish masters. The walls were decorated with mosaics and original lamps. And the real decoration was a luxurious chandelier in the lobby and a pool with fish.
