Address
1 Zaporizhzhia Square, Zaporozhzhia
Next to the City Palace of Children and Youth Creativity, there is an observation deck that offers an unforgettable view.
Of course, the first thing that catches your attention is the hallmark of Zaporizhzhia - the Dnipro Hydroelectric Station, an impressive structure that amazes with its scale and beauty. On the other side, another picturesque landscape opens up on Khortytsia Island with the historical and cultural complex "Zaporizhzhia Sich" - it's like another era. From the observation deck, you can admire the entire complex and take unforgettable photos as a keepsake.
From here, you can also see one of the Preobrazhensky bridges, which was built in the last century during 1949-1952. The project was designed by engineer Boris Preobrazhensky. The location has become one of the most beloved among urban photographers.
You can enjoy the views of Zaporizhzhia from the observation deck not only on ordinary days. This place, along with the square in front of the building and the Metallurgists Park, several times a year transforms into a festival site. It is here that two of Ukraine's largest free festivals - ZAPORIZHZHIA JAZZY and KHORTYTSIA FREEDOM - meet their fans and guests.
