about half an hour's walk from the railway station «Zaporizka Sich», Khortytsia Island, Zaporizhzhia
This religious monument was built according to Tibetan canons on the territory of a private estate on the island of Khortytsia in 2009.
The symbolism of the stupa is strictly defined and consists of 5 elements, including the apex and 4 sides. In nature, they embody a harmonious combination of space - the apex, fire, water, air, and earth.
The Buddhist stupa is about 4 meters high. Followers of Buddhism believe that one can participate in the action of the stupa by touching and circling it along the path that the sun passes through every day exactly 108 times.
Every year, more and more people come to see the stupa. Some people practice yoga nearby, believing that it provides them with health and enhances the positive chakras of the body.
