Arboretum is a picturesque corner of Khortytsia, which beautifully complements the natural landscape of the island.
The project for creating the park was led by Dr. L. I. Rubtsov, a professor of biological sciences who worked on the development of such famous natural sites as the M. M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden and the arboretum in the biosphere reserve "Askania-Nova." Some of the trees planted here were brought from the Nikitskyi Botanical Garden in Crimea.
Thanks to the special selection of plants, the park looks beautiful all year round. The park consists of separate elements, each of which is an interesting landmark in itself. Among them are a juniper grove with extremely clean air, a sunny meadow (where a sundial is planned to be installed), an oak alley, and an alley of lovers.
